Hey. I got this Ross Cadet recently. It was REAL dirty. These are pics from before I cleaned it. It needs a little restoration to the wood which I think I will do tomorrow. It was so dirty the bolt wouldn't move freely and the bolt-lock wouldn't engage. Works good now, only I found that the extractor is...

BROKEN!!!

The extractor on my old Ross Cadet never really worked, but I would like to have one just or the sake of completeness.. perhaps it might even work. Does anyone perchance have a spare???? I know Ross Cadet parts are hard to find - maybe I can find a parts gun or an old sporter version.

Other than that, all else is fine. I love the profusion of markings on it.

Nice markings on the butt. Finding parts may be tough, try Wheaty on this forum. Otherwise a good 'smith might be able to repair part(s). Hows the bore? Most Cadets I've seen had really bad bores but might still shoot ok.
