JoBrook in Brandon just got a crate, along with 2 crates of Mosins. Mostly 1940 Izzies with some Tulas here and there. No Kovrovs I could see.
Mine is a very nice gold bolt 1940 Izzy. Mags are pinned, not chopped, but serial numbers don't match - at least I couldn't find a mag to match my rifle.
If there is anybody here who collects these things, I thought I'd point out one I saw - it was the only one like it in the crate. Has the "Russian naval infantry" sling (attaches through the stock at the rear like a Mosin) in AT configuration. I've heard these are fairly rare. Had the 4 hole muzzle brake. I believe it was a 1940 Izzy like most of the guns.
