Good quality scope, base and rings. Get reloading equipment and go. No need for anything else at this time. Just my opinion mind you.
just b uy lot's of ammo and shoot
Sounds like your first rifle - this is some of the better advice here. While you're shooting, start gathering information on what to do to improve it (and start saving some cash for better optics, reloading equipment, stock, bipod, ... etc.)
So I want to build me a "precision" rifle. So I decided to start with the 700 in .223. I shot my friend's and it was sweet. So what should I do next???? I have a scope, it's not great but it will do for now. Any advice??? I am on a budget, lol, so be easy on me. I would also prefer stuff that I can do myself so I can say I did it!!! Thanks.
Kinda late now. I own it.
