Have been waited for it since last September:dancingbanana: . Finally got it this weekend. But unfortunately had to spend $35 for the 20 rounds magazine (gun store said distributor charged them extra for the 20 mag, don't know if it's true or not. But anyway, I am happy with my new rifle). Brought it home, then spent couple of hours to clean the grease on it.

Now, what's next? Give it a new USGI stock and a fresh painting (that would be a big challenge for me)? So guys, can you recommend some stores/websites to buy stock and put a new painting?

Enjoy!

Where'd you buy it from? Pro-Line? If so I had been waiting on that shipment since late luly early aug, but was on the top of the list and got dibs on a used one that came in. I hope they saved me some 20rnd mags! And if it is pro-line, I doubt they would lie about the cost of mags. Happy shooting!

Cheers,
Duncan

Yes, you are right. It's from Pro-line. $477 after GST. I put my name on list since last Sep.

I picked up a lightly (if at all) used M305 on the weekend.
Two questions:
No manual etc and the thing has no lube on it. I read through a lot of the threads and couldn't find anything re this except 'use grease'. Recommendations for type of grease and where to grease? Is there an on-line manual available?
Question #2. I have a couple of 308 snap caps. Neither extract from the gun and the bolt appears to lock up properly. Is something not working? Besides me, that is?
BTW, Are all the stocks this freaking ugly?
Regards,
Maxim08

If your stock is like mine, yes it is ugly. I used some hoppes gun grease from walmart... not a clue if its the right stuff but seems to work ok. On my Norc to load a fresh round from the mag I have to pull it back and then slam forward or else the "extractor" does not engage, although it looks fully closed. When it comes to this stuff I dont really have a clue what im talking about but if you are babying the rifle maybe something to look at?

Cheers,
Duncan
