Got my AR lower transfered and shipped in a total of 3 days!

I gave all the info for the transfer on Monday and the stripped receiver show up today (Thursday) great service from Dlask and the CFO's office in Alberta.

Mine were bought Sunday initiated transfer Monday and ready in Tuesday. Amazing service from dlask and great finished products super happy with what I got. My friends who also bought dar701 reported similar time frame and impressions of quality.

I've always been impressed by the Alberta CFO - usually 2-3 days max for transfer

I've never had a bad experience with Alberta CFO. I have had same day transfers issued. Never more than 2 days.

Last restricted transfer I did in Ontario took three weeks....there never seems to be standard nation wide and no recourse of action.

The current wait for BC is 1 day, sometimes not even a day. For Alta. it is between 1-3 days. For Ont. & Que. it is weeks ( at best) to get the transfers with Quebekistan being the worst because they insist on using snail mail to get us the hard copy of the approval. Apparently the internet is either not readily available or the CFO there are not computer literate enough to use their own registry system. In my mind and considering it is 2018 I find this completely incomprehensible in terms of wasting both provincial employees time and the province's cash resources buying paper, stamps and envelopes.

It's not a department, it's a police corp. If it was a department it would be 1-3 days like other provinces. Since it's a police corp, their goal is to make it long and hard, so they actually accomplish what they set out to do.

For an AR there's a 30 days waiting period. It could be faster to move to a different province, buy your AR, then move back to Quebec.
