Finally my buddy and I bought our Baikal's MP 153

28" vent-rib barrel, 4 chockes

I'm planning on heading to Silverdale if they are open on Sunday to break-in my new Baikal and see how it patterns :sniper:

here are few shots

Their website was down so I thought they may be closed for the winter.
Do you have any info on Silverdale?
I got the same MP-153 (camo version) that I need to pattern before turkey season. I may need to get a special choke from Bass Pro - they sell an extra full choke marked specifically for the Baikal.

I think the Baikal MP 153 is a very underated gun I have used them and they have no issues that I have found and they do not jam up in the cold December weather when you are Duck hunting on Lake Ontario. Not like the
Remington 11-87s

But that is my thought.

Good Luck with it.

My friends and I have had 11-87s for years now and I hunted in pouring rain, cold weather, snowy weather and it has never jammed on any of us, not even once. From our experience these autoloaders are very well made.

Both Baikals pattern really well with Full but I will buy XFull for turkey

sorry was gonna bring the paper target but we got too excited and after 50 rounds of 2 3/4 at 1 1/4 #4's the paper was dead  same as the supporting wooden frame
