Got My First Revolver!

Today my new registration certificate and temporary ATT came in the mail, so I went and picked up my Smith and Wesson Model 17-3. It's a 6 shot .22 LR. There is a picture of one below. Mine has different grips on it.

Wheel gun

Looks like a beauty Corey3, I've got a 14-3 in .38 Special and I have to agree with you about the quality and workmanship of these guns...they're great. Would love to get something in .22 cal like yours but I'm sure my "rounds per range visit" would probably quintruple (is that a word?) which leads me to wonder - are there speed loaders for .22 cal?
Wish someone would give me a gun.

I certainly don't know if quintruple is a word. :) I don't know about the speed loaders either, I suppose I can just put the shells in one by one. Even my father likes this pistol, which is suprising because he usually doesn't care about anything firearms related.
 
Sweet! I have a Model 17-6 and I love it!!! HKS makes speedloaders for the 17...try PM'ing willwagspal on this board...I have bought lots of speedloaders from him.:D
 
My First Revolver

My First Revolver was a 686. Still got it and love it. I will never be able to shoot it to its potential. I have a girlfriend who has a similar S&W pistol. It was her dads. Keep trying to get her to sell it to me but no dice. You did good and your gonna' have a lotta fun.
