Haven't got to shoot it yet. The range was closing by the time I was done shooting my pistols.

I'm one happy camper:dancingbanana:

Fabarm Martial? I also bought a Fabarm as my first shotgun. It is currently in the field but I could not go because of rescheduling due to late season snow in the alpine this year. *sigh*

Hi Canuck!!

I get a Mossberg 930 Tactical last month and retrofit it with a choate full lenght pistol grip stock, This shotgun is well price and feed everything I gave him.

It is not a Fabarm, but It will do the job

Good Luck

Yves

Tell us how you like the fore-end return spring and if you decide to take it out.

I think some owners polish the inside of the fore-end piece because it has a tendency to leave lots of scratches on the receiver.

Looking good.

That won't help, it's the friction of the forend on the receiver, smooth or not there will be wear. You could a) get a short forend b) not worry about it (it's alloy it won't rust) or c) put some sort if barrier in between the receiver and the forend. ie tape.

Hmm...ok...

I meant sanding down and polishing to the point that there is sufficient clearance with no rubbing at all. Why wasn't that a possibility in your trials?

Although I agree, it is cosmetic and there is no worry about alloy.
