Got my first shotgun yesterday

In the past I had a Remington Model 11 with two barrels.A 28 inch modified and a 30 inch full .Nice shotgun.
Hard to beat a Browning designed long recoil auto loading shotgun. The Browning Auto 5 was in production from 1903 till the 1980's or 90's.Not sure on the Model 11 Remington but the year 1905 seems to me the introduction date. The 11-48 Remington used the Browning long recoil system as well.

Even today the Browning long recoil system is still in use.The Franchi 48 AL auto loader uses the Browning long recoil system. That makes 105 years of use for Mr.Browning's design.:)

its got a dial-a-duck on it as well...

Finnish on it was pretty bad so Iv re-blued it i'll try to get the before and after pics up on here

I have a polychoke on my Browning Auto 5 and have had no trouble with it using steel shot. Now having said that, I cannot say that I have shot a lot of steel through it.Also when using steel I have never set it tighter than improved modified.

I was out putting shells through it earlier today. It is extrememly reliable, accurate and had no problems with the choke put shot shells through it as well as slugs. (improved cylinder setting only) I also did some shooting at clays and both full and modified choke worked well with the cheap federal ammo I was using.

took them with the cell phone.....sorry for the lack or quality

I have been quite pleased with my polychoke. The things are ugly as heck :)but work well.
