Got my first shotgun!!

I picked up my first shotty from the Post Office today

I bought it as a Winchester 1200 Pump 20" w/pistol grip. It also came with an 18" 2200 barrel.

I was wondering what other Winchester parts are "interchangeable" on this shotgun?

If I were to want say a Wood or Synthetic shoulder stock would 1300, 1400, 2200 stocks fit without any modifications? Any other models?

Can you get the AR style stocks for the Winchesters? Knoxx I think?

I have a Win 2200, the other stocks should work fine as I just put on an ATI (AR style) stock on it and it fit with no problems.

Excellent buy! i bought that same gun as my first as well, liked it so much i have used it for 3 years of waterfowl hunting.

I should have mentioned too, my 1st gun ever was a Win, 1200/12ga with vent-rib and Winchoke 28" bbl. That was X-mas 1989.
That shotgun still shoots 'em as good as it did 18yrs ago!

Good choice!

I have a Winchester Model 1300 with factory synthetic stocks that I bought back in 1999 - what a machine, especially if you factor in the price. It's also very reliable, durable and easy to take down and clean.

The actions in these things rock - arguably the fastest in the business.

If you 'preload' the pump while firing the spring loaded rotating bolt will facilitate really impressive 'shuck' times.

I like to set up three spread out targets and do combo shots at them - I can really rock!
