Well I just got my Dominion Arms 870 Grizzly.(Thanks CanAm) I slapped on a brand new knoxx spec ops stock. It looks good and feels good too. I shot a few rounds at the range and it was good. I only got one problem and its with the stock. When I shoot, the stock compresses at the pistol grip. It then jams and the pistol grip is forward and hides the safety and trigger. It doesn't touch the trigger guard at all so I'm not sure yet why its doing that. I give the pistol grip a good wack and it goes back into its original location. (Check pic 4, thats the original position and when it "compresses" the pistol grip overlaps the safety and trigger and stays there untill I hit it hard to put it back into place) If anyone has had that problem and knows how to fix it, just let me know. Here are some pics... they are from a camera phone so a lil fuzzy.

I think Geologist had a similar problem with the Specops on his Norinco, he may be able to help you out.
Nice gun, I think mine id at the Post office, I ran out of fuel in my truck about a mile away and it was closed by the time I got things sorted out...tomorrow morning I guess

Cheers

Spray some gun oil into the recoil action part of the stock.
That should help with the break-in....

It's not the recoil part... its the pistol grip thats moving back and forth. From what I read its not suppose to. So I did a lil research and theres suppose to be a batch of stocks that were bad and do the same thing. I'm gonna wait and see what TSE wants to do.

I guess I misundertood your problem.
On mine when it was new it would stick so that the trigger gaurd was back in the pistol grip and then I would have to help pull it forward....I oiled it up and cycled it a bunch and it's fine now.
These stocks recoil absorb in two places but you may allready be aware of that...
Good Luck!

Actually thats exactly whats happening. I'll try that this weekend and see. I guess after reading some stuff about how there was a "bad" batch that did this... I thought the gun wasn't suppose to move back into the pistol grip. So I looked at the videos on the knoxx site again and I was wrong. I'll have to wait and see when I try it out. Thanks a lot for help... now I feel so dumb. lol

The pistol grip doesn't move. The upper part of the stock that the receiver bolts to moves back over the lower part. It it's sticking that would cause the problem you are experiencing.
