I have been looking at Elmira and Bridgeport..

Elmira has a 200 yard, which is beneficial..

plus I don't know 2 people at Bridgeport in which to sponsor me to become a member ;)

I'm a member at Elmira, its a really great range, and yes the 200m is very fun. The membership is also cheap.
 
I you go to a member meeting at the on the first Tuesday of the month (Tonight for Example),you can meet some people.I will be there tonight.

You only need to go to a meeting at Bridgeport and meet a few people or one signature from someone on the executive works as well. Good luck with your choice
 
Question about Silverdale, do i just show up with my PAL and rent a spot? do i need to bring anything else but gun and ammo..?
 
Shooting.....that's easy. You show up at langemark range in cf borden tommorow at 700 am, look for a guy named Tim and ask to fill any vacant shooters spot. Will cost you 50$ to play. If you do not own a tac vest/kit, rifle and pistol, I will lend you mine(you reemburse me for the ammo you use.) Expect to spend $50 to play, $20 on pistol ammo and another $80 on rifle ammo, for a total of 150 plus lunch. You will far more fun than is possible shooting at a club, shoots lots, get addicted to a new form of shooting, learn lots of new things, meet lots of great people. Be prepared to have a pile of fun and not return home the same. You will be forever addicted. You could also pm Boliver and check out the service rifle sub forum.

If a ride is a issue I will be rolling thru your area bright and early(530 or 6).

Hey, if I head down to Silverdale and pay for access for the day? Would I be able to bring my father as a guest with me? He doesn't have a license and we would just share my gun and a lane..

he's never been into into the sport, but would like to try it out.
