As the title says i got my new shadow, its a beautiful piece of Czech machinery, and i love it. I was wondering what are some spare parts i should keep handy and where is the best place in Canada to get them. I want to try my hand at IPSC eventually, so if anyone could chime in on a good starter holster and other things i will need would be great as well.

Thanks guys! and sorry thenewbieglock guy, no pictures and phone pics just cant do this pistol justice. also wondering if anyone has experience running steel cased ammo through these pistols, thinking of buying some bulk for good long days at the range :D

Haven't had any problems with my shadow using steel cases ammo. Pretty much shoots whatever I feed it. 15,000 rounds and still going strong so far. Steel cased, fmh, lead reloads etc etc

Some guys like ghost holsters, I still use my basic blade tech doh holster for ipsc.

I changed to a lighter recoil and hammer spring from CZ to lighten the weight. Also added a steel recoil guide rod (for a tiny bit more weight). But plastic should be fine. Shoots 9mm like .22's lol cause the gun is so heavy.

Congrats on an excellent all around pistol. For spare parts, you will want some recoil springs, main spring, slide stop, trigger return spring and extra fiber optic rods for the front sight. If you decide to get into IPSC, we sell several holsters and mag pouches that will work great for you.

As suggested, you will want the lighter recoil and mainspring and down the road you may want the CZ competition hammer installed.

Welcome to the world of CZ!
