Got my sks early.....

I took my new to me sks to the range and banged off about forty rounds. It sure didn't take long to finish the rounds off.
I am going to pick up a different brand of ammunition and try again on the weekend.
Can anyone advise which ammunition is better quality?

For SKS, the cheaper the better? I got a crate of czech surplus for regular shooting and some S&B SPs for deers.

I sure hope you're using surplus ammo.....or did you mean different years within the batches of surplus?
