Many sleepless nights waiting for the CFO to clear it,Canada Post brought it to my door.
The Trojan is more than I expected.
It came with one Mecgar mag(with spacer) and I also purchased 3 Metalform 10mm mags.
The gun is fitted tightly and the bushing is even more tight.
The gun came to me from Gunnar at Armco.
I initially had some failures to feed.
Not the pistols fault.
My reloads were a little shorter than factory spec.
I met up with Shootin Fiend and Mike from Kitchener.
Mike put in a 12.5 lb. ISMI recoil spring because my loads were a little lighter than factory.
I also had him lighten the trigger.
It was fine as it was at about 3.5lbs but I wanted it a little lighter.
It's now at 2.5 lbs. Just right for me.
Hit the range with Shooting Fiend and began shooting Winchester White box
180gr. FMJ.
1 failure to feed caused by sticky follower in one of the Metalform mags.
Other than that all was flawless.
No problems with the MecGar,Metalforms, or the Chip McCormick or Ed Brown mags that Shooting Fiend brought along.
We also shot some lighter .40 loads that Shooting Fiend had brought along.
Zero problems.
I also tried some of Mike's reloads.
Zero problems.
We were testing more for function,but I know that this pistol is accurate.
The adjustable sights are click adjustable and the sight picture is quite good.
Am I happy. I smile everytime I think of my newly aqquired pistol.
I wouldn,t hesitate in recommending the Trojan.
If you're looking for an affordable,well put together,accurate single stack .40 then I can only quote what Shooting Fiend replied after putting some rounds downrange with it.
"Lef T...You got yourself a Cadillac here"
