Got to visit the kalashnikov Museum in (Izhevsk) Russia.....

After a 15 hour train ride from Moscow I was in the Udmurt region and in the town of Izhevsk. I was told the Kalashnikov museum was there and got to visit after doing some work. It was pretty good for Russian standards.Of course they charge foreigners more to enter and even more if you want to take photos. But it was not that expensive.

They said the one with the green furniture was for the guys in the forest.(most of Russia is a forrest so I was suprised you dont see more of them.)
 
So many guns so little time on this blue orb. :). How did you find the food on the Russian train? My wife and her mother did the trans Siberian express from Russia > Mongolia > china last year and she came back pale and thin. Heh. Last time I was in Russia I was flying in a Mig 31 foxhound. About 10 years ago. Went to 71,000 feet. Saw the curve of the earth.
