I had another 6BR built with a Gaillard barrel with a no-turn .272 chamber 1:8 twist.

The load development made me nervous because I was getting huge groups (1.5 MOA) with certain loads and seating depths, but as I worked towards "conventional" loads, she tigtened up tighter than a prostate exam.

105 scenars Jammed 15/1000 with 30 gr of Varget and it was literally a one-hole gun at 100. I shot at 200 and it was making holes about the size of a dime. Between the awesome 'smithing job Mick McPhee did on that Gaillard barrel, it is a real winner.

I did not take pictures because I had no thoughts of "boasting", but 5 stars for a superb Canadian barrel maker and a superb Canadian gunsmith.

Glad to hear it, I just bought my first Gaillard bbl, 6.5mm 1:8 twist, have yet to turn it into a rifle but that will happen soon.
