GP 100 finally

BNIB?
Seems small number of GP 109 and 101 has came in recently. Some dealer got them in stock lately but they are all gone in second.
I am getting one sometime next week in stainless steel 4.25" but I always want the blue one.
I think we should exchange. Lol

Yes BNIB, 3 more left. Tempting on the swap haha, but kinda ok with the blued version now. Tired of searching and ready to shoot!! Elwood Epps had blue ones 1 or 2 weeks ago but were sold in one day. (I happened to look on their web site the day after they were sold)

I like revolver on blue or black finish because they just look awesome.
Congratulations of your purchase.

I picked one up a few years ago after being exclusively a S&W revolver shooter. I still really enjoy it--it's a shame they still don't include the original grips; they're the best-feeling revolver grip I've ever used, and I've used a ton.

IMHO, a wheel gun is a blue gun. You won't be disappointed. If wood grips are your thing, I would recommend Hogue.

Thanks everyone, this is my first revolver and like it just the way it is.........well maybe the Hogue wood grips............new front fiber sight...........new front red ramp..............speed loaders.........wolfe spring kit.........wife is gonna kill me!!!
Actually, what speed loader brand should I be looking for?

I hate you!!! I hate you!!! I hate you!!!

I've been waiting for mine for a year now. Obviously the Ruger rep here in Canada does not like my dealer very much (won't say who it is but they have an ad here). Elwood got 6 GPs last August to put on the shelf - not back orders - and now they got 5 more this month - may be back order, I don't know. I wish I had ordered through them. I will next time.

For double action revolvers, I've basically been a S&W and Colt fan. However, I picked up an earlier 4" GP 100 a few years ago.

And to keep it company, I also picked up an early model younger brother, 4" SP 101.

I was going to place an order myself, but then you are kinda stuck if one shows up someplace else. Got mine from Frontier in case people have not discovered the other 3 there yet.

When I went to pick up my first handgun years ago; everyone attempted to talk me out of my GP100 - I ended up picking up an SR9 instead.. Then after a while I realized something was missing so I went on the hunt and spent a couple weeks tracking down a 4.2" GP100 stainless.. I take it with me EVERY time to the range and put through a minimum of 100 rounds through it each time I go.. The trigger has gotten even better and smoother over time. I would never sell my GP100 its taken everything from cheap target 38s to 38 +P reloads to full power 357s.. Absolutely worth the wait! Get one whenever you can!

Now a couple years later I'm anxiously awaiting my SP101 in .22lr that I ordered thursday.

Keep us updated on how you like your GP100

OP: dude: those GP100's in black look SO MUCH BETTER than stainless.... and stainless look AMAZING.

You know, I'm liking it more and more and don't have it in my hands yet! Stainless is better for holster scratches though I would think.

Mralbereta, I'm sure it's gonna get worse.
