GP 100 vs N frame

My GP-100 took a lot of abuse and always came back for more.
from my 4 inch barrel
125 grain bullets at 1750 fps, 158/160s at 1500, 180s at 1350, and I was still looking for a load that would give me a reliable 265 power factor, I was working with a 215 grain cast (gc) that I could get to 1200 fps (needed 1250) but the bullets kept sliding out of the case and jamming the cylinder. The problem was I was bulging the case by compressing the powder, and killing my brass with the massive crimps.

And then my house burned down.

I have only used a gp-100 at a range with store loads and seemed no problem. I know another member Sunray has used one with heavy .357 loads and said the pistol never had a hitch.

I'm not a heavy revolver shooter, but when I do shoot my 6" GP100, it's always with full factory loads, and I've never had any problems ;-)
