Grandpa's old 303

You are lucky to get a history piece handed down to you. When I was young ( late 50s and early 60s) I used to hunt rabbit and grouse with a great uncle that was in both Wars. He had an Enfield #1 MkIII* that was converted to 2 1/2 " .410 shot (he carried it as a guard at an internment camp during the War.) Many hours we carried that beast in the bush trails. After he passed and the will said it was to go to me. Well, sometime during the ensuing years, the rifle disappeared.
Just a few years ago, I located another rifle that was literally the same (Thanks cantom). After Louthepou did his magic on replacing the woods etc. I am the proud owner of the original's replica. It feels like I am holding the rifle so long ago and he is beside me giving direction. Some times a nostalgia piece is worth more than it can be physically valued. I am very glad I have mine.
