Graphite USGI M14 stock?

I've never heard of a graphite USGI stock. I don’t suppose it's imposable but I've never heard of one. The use of graphite materials, to make anything, is relatively expensive.
A rifle stock, made from graphite, would likely be black or dark gray under whatever paint it's got.
I'm sure it's a mistake. - Too expensive.

I second JeffMan's opinion. You would be spending a ton of money to make a graphite stock and it wouldn't retail for anywhere as low as even $200.00. It would be pretty well unbreakable if it really was a graphite stock.
Fiberglass is the norm and usually is referred to as a fg stock or USGI stock.

Graphite and other composites are common in racing and street car tuning. Other than exotic carbon sleeves on Ruger 10/22 barrels (which seem to be made so some rich idiot will buy for $$$$), I don't think they are used in guns. Not really much need for that amount of weight or stress reduction. The materials of the mid-20th century still work just fine.
