Grayboe stocks

I've been considering putting a new stock on my Remington 700 and been thinking of going the route of a Grayboe Outlander.

Who has experience with the stocks and what's your opinion?

I have a Grayboe on my 700. It’s really nice. Very rigid, aluminum block, nice texture, very happy with it. One thing I found was the way the inletting was done and the bedding block was positioned, the recoil lug had a tiny bit of space behind it. Wasn’t an issue, but I bedded it at the lug and the tang just because I’m picky that way.

Nice stocks.

USD price is nice, weight looks light, not much in that price range comparable if you can get it here for exchange rate.
Let us know how it works out and how much end price is, probably a few folks would be interested.

The Outlander was the factory stock for the Model 700 Alaskan Wilderness Rifle. I bought one from Red Hawk for an SPS I had kicking around (sales price was like $250 USD), no aluminum block, just solid fiberglass. Mine is about 27 ounces. Fits well, extremely rigid, fine sporter stock.

It definitely is a nice looking stock, I managed to pick one up for 300 Canadian during black friday. I'll post up some pics once it arrives.

Was it easy ordering through Grayboe? With less than $500 do you have to do the easy export?

Wasn't familiar with these guys. The trekker looks a bit odd but it's available in lefty. Gonna have to consider these when I upgrade my stock.

I have an eagle pro left hand. Haven’t spent much time behind it yet but should be this coming week to do a review on it before I have back surgery. Quality is better than any factory stock I have held and it’s a good weight. (I prefer the textured finish to a sleek finish as I think it gives better grip)

Adjustable cheek riser is nice! And I like the grip. So far thats all I can say until I get some time behind it at the range. I give it a thumbs up at this point.

I want to try a Trekker at some point (not sure on what, though). They are available from Springfield on the new Redline rifle. They look neat and if they are like the Outlander, should still be very rigid.

Hey guys, sorry I just finished picking up the stock, took a bit longer to ship and then go pick up. I ordered to a US service and went to pick it up.

Nice looking stock and robust compared to oem, roughly. 5lbs heavier.

I have a Graboe on my Vudoo rimfire, and a friend has one on his 223 target rifle. I bought mine from Insite Arms, and he bought his from another dealer.
