i like to go over them all monthly as well. but this one will need to be not seen for a little bit, as my son is fairly active with me and the firearms when it comes to range time and getting them ready. he`ll see the new one and start asking ?s. don`t want to lie to him, he`s only 8.

i may be on that path. i have 2 daughters and an older son who`ve all moved out, they should have one for when they visit, and their other halfs....

I would say a big negative to the plastic bag. Moisture will condense unless you have some serious desiccant. Grease and paper seems the best. Lps3 or acf 50 is good. Or just leave the Cosmo on the gun.
