Grease

Can someone recommend a top quality grease for (hinged) break action shotguns being used for high volume clay target shooting?

I use stuff called Super Lube that has teflon and is rated from -65 to 650F. I first got it to use on my lathe and then started to use on the few places firearms require it.

S.T.O.S. is really popular with O/U users, as is Remington gun grease.

Ive used Lubriplate white lithium grease, it works well and last quite a while without rubbing off easily.

I'd say Lubriplate would be my choice

Cam lube - used for installing cams in engines - get it at high performance auto suppliers.

I use Honda Moly 60 assembly lube. I'm probably not high volume for most clay shooters, but I put a few thousand rounds a year through it. A little goes a long way. It works well for me, once you use it a bit the surfaces get moly burnished in. Only downside is it tends to be messy as it is grey.
