Greetings all

Just taking some time to introduce myself to the community here. Im sending my application for my PAL/RPAL today, and will try to not get even more antsy waiting for my license to arrive. My love for firearms started when I was a we little lad (still am by most standards as Im 21) but became more serious when I started to get into airsoft a couple of years ago, and now making my way into real steel.

Im located in the GTA west end and will look into becoming a member of South Peel and Silverdale. I am really looking forward to making things go bang soon, and meeting the lots of ya.

Muchos gracias senior, and yes I have been lurking for a number of months now and have already taken in a wealth of knowledge, and will continue to do so as long as I have hours to kill here while at work.

Buenas RNRO. CGN has few simple rules to follow which keeps all posts and threads in check - that being said - as you've already experienced - tons of info plus a bunch of great shooters to share your shooting talents with. Ensure your wallet is healthy as the EE section gets very tempting!
As for RPAL, don't fuss with it for the next 30 days or more. Once you see your app "received" on CFC's status page make a follow-up call. Ask if its complete and if there are any issues missing or in need of clarrification, if so, they will inform you at that point. After you have done your part, it should be another couple of weeks (or months, depending on the province). There are a couple of good posts on PAL/RPAL processing times.
In the meantime, go to the range and enjoy this addicting sport. Adios - Hasta la vista amigo.
 
Welcome Outlaw, what other fun hobbies you into , if this is a new found place to spend cash, its fun , all angles , hunting, tgt shooting, and plinking with friends...or just collecting some fine work , from some of the best makers out there.

I know what you mean about being antsy. My RPAL just got issued (hasn't arrived in the post yet), but for the week prior, I was checking the CFC website several times a day! :redface:

I'm in the west end, too, and looking for a club to join ... Silverdale looks good, but it might be a bit far for my liking.

My other hobbies include playing airsoft (which I know is just ADORED here :D ) and music. Metal and most of its varients, rock'n'roll with a great focus on the kind that comes from the South, blues, jazz, classical, pretty much anything other than hip-hop, rap, and pop. In other words, dignified music that requires talent. I am also looking forward to including real-steel shooting as part of my hobby list, but thats a bit obvious by my presence on here ;). I am currently working Security but am looking to pursue a career in Law Enforcement or Military. And that my story.
