Made it out for a beauty of a day at Twin City to play with a new rifle I've been building (Cadex Chassis, .308, Nightforce NXS 5.5-20) , range was pretty packed mostly with a variety of precision shooters, either of the precision, F class and even some big black powder boomers on the line. Another shooter arrived and was encountering some trouble getting on paper and had some equipment challenges.
Some of the more experienced F class shooters walked him onto the paper by watching him shoot and the use of their spotting scopes, and a number of folks stepped forward to help when this gentleman had some issues with his scope mount to loan a screwdriver etc...
Not saying this sort of thing doesn't happen in other disciplines but I see it most often on the firing line amongst this community of shooters.
