Thanks to everyone for the suggestions in another thread about where to shoot clay for the first time near Vancouver. I met up with the trap group on Sunday at PoCo. Excellent time!
Shot three rounds, just $5 per game. Perfect weather and good turnout. Not sure what it's usually like but most stations were full for most of the day on the 2 trap ranges.
Great bunch of people, super helpful for a newb like me, some even offering me their guns to try. Of course everyone had a friendly laugh at my little 12.5" gun but I shot three games with it and my best score was a 9 so for my first time out, I'm really pretty damn happy. I suppose I'm on the lookout for a 28"+ barrel now...
Thanks to all at PoCo and everyone here for their advice!
I'll have to try skeet next time...
