Picked up this sweet little TM1 this week. All numbers match and it shows very little wear. The gentleman I bought it from said he bought it for his wife from the original owners family a couple seasons ago. The original owner ordered the gun new in 1979 and shortly afterward suffered a massive heart attack ending his shooting days. The gun sat unused for years. The fellow was small and so he ordered the gun with a 30"bbl, very unusual to find in a TM1 and in fact the only 30" example of one I have ever seen. It was still with the original case too!
The stock was shortened to a 13" lop to accommodate the second owner's wife and had an adjustable comb installed as well as the adjustable butt. The lever sits well to the right of center a little above the 5 o'clock position. It came with 4 factory screw chokes(5,7,9 & 10). The fellow I bought it from said his wife shot it two seasons then decided she wanted to start shooting doubles trap as well so he bought her an over under and they decided to sell this gun as she uses the new one for all 3 trap disciplines.
I purchased this for my wife as a step up from the 30" Browning BT-99 Micro she is currently shooting.
