Hey all,
Been a great season so far, far less deer seen during my week up north but I did manage a small 8pointer on the friday. Yesterday afternoon me and my buddy thought about hitting a little private property we have access to in Southern ontario
We could see the toronto skyline.. It was differnt!
Setup on the ground about 150 yards away from eachother around 2:00 pm... About 4:00 i get a call on my cell from my buddy, hes freaking out.."I just shot a big buck!" , I was like " sure you did" after a sec or two i could tell he wasnt joking around. He ran over to me and said he made a great shot on a good buck. 36 yards with his Xbow. It crashed off into the bush. We decided to head back to the truck and unload most of our gear and wait. 45 mins later we went back to look. Found the errow covered in blood and followed the trail(love snow this time of the year) of fine sprays into the bush.. 40 yards later there he lay under a pine. Great Buck!! and Yes it was tagged right after these pics... Since we split the meat, I think my freezer is filled for the year!
