Stopped in today on my way back from a business trip. It was my first visit, had a great talk with the 2 gentlemen there. Handled a few guns, chatted about hunting and sporting dogs.....all around an excellent experience.

I'll definitely be back!

these guys are great, and very helpful. they got me a radical AR and no problems sending to BC. I have family that live in the area so i always go in when I'm there.
 
I stopped in there a few years ago while I was visiting family in the area and was not really impressed.

Guys behind the counter seemed not to care to much. Not talkative at all.

Maybe I shouldn't have said that I was from Alberta.. My two cents.

I would say that you must have caught everyone on their worst day. We are usually very friendly with our customers. Stop in next time you are in area and I am sure you will have a better experience. Sorry that we let you down. Regards, Jeff
 
Alberta as well? I thought they just didn’t like anyone from Manitoba!!

All kidding aside...I’ve been in to the shop several times(these guys are not nearly as close to me geographically, as another site sponsor located in SW Ontario)and have never got that impression(you really must have got them on an off day—or under the old ownership). My experience thus far has been that they’re a bunch of guys always willing to help you out, and/or have a good chat.

Was your visit before the summer of 2015? There are new owners now.
 
Jeff and Mark are both great! Jeff loves his Shotguns and can recommend something for anyone with all sorts of budgets. I bought my first handgun from Mark and I had not a clue about them other then what the rpal course taught and he was very patient and explained everything to me and ended up getting something that I still own to this day!
 
Great store, excellent selection of products, and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. This has been my experience with the Tillsonburg Gun Shop.

Back in August of 2011 I had just finished spending well over $1,000 for ammunition and other items which Mike helped me carry out to my vehicle. He knew I was always a good customer and spent money every time I dropped by.

When I came back in the store "Charlie" got nasty for some petty reason and gave me a lot of lip right in front of other customers. I was so embarrassed that I stopped going there for nearly four years until Jeff and Mark bought the store from Wayne Goble in mid 2015.

Jeff and Mark are good people. Give the store another chance. You won't regret it.

Traded a couple of shotguns against purchase of a used one in June. Jeff gave me a fair deal and good service. I would be happy to go back there again.
 
Bought a derya online from them, got a call that it was in fact a used trade in. There wasn’t a mark on it bolt looked new, fairly certain it was never fired. Gave me $300 off for the trouble, pretty awesome to deal with.

I'll be back in that neck of the woods next December and yes I'll go back. I'll also go back to the gun shop in Delhi, London and Chatham.

I love going to guns shops. :)

But hate going to funerals. :(
 
I purchased one of my very first firearms from these guys. Purchased several more from them since lol. Great store, helpful staff.. they even stayed open late for me one time while i drove from Toronto.
