Great Mysteries of the Sporting Arms World

Did Savage ever make anything after the 99 that wasn't a POS?

Does anyone really take pride in their Mossberg, or is it a secret like that ### uncle the family only ever sees at funerals?

Do the designers of the Remington 710 and 770 sit around laughing every time someone buys another?

I don't like the sound of that...

Hahaha right. Full disclosure just shipped Hoyt a Ruger. With heroic determination, it went back in its original box without excessive force. I swear to goodness that box shrank however. And where on earth does the white flap of cardboard actually go? Have bought a dozen of the things new and never took notes.

Usually the muzzle doesn't poke through the end of the box until "after" CP gets their hands on it...

Did Savage ever make a rifle that wouldn't out shoot a Remmington

If the muzzle is sticking out of the box CP figures it's already pooched and doesn't bother breaking the stock:)
