Hi folks,

I remember seeing a post a few months back about buying a chronograph, and one of the responders said that he/she had purchased their chronograph directly from Shooting Chrony in Canada.

I phoned them up last Monday and got a quote of $104 + GST + $8.95 shipping for the F-1 Master. I know you can probably get them a bit cheaper on EBay, but regardless, the quote of $104 sure beat WSS's price of $159.

Anyways, the Chrony arrived on my doorstep the next Monday, and although I haven't tried it out, I'm very impressed by the company re: the fast and reasonable shipping. In fact, the actual shipping was $21, but they still only charged me the $8.95.

In total, I'm in about $120 for the Chrony after shipping and taxes... can't beat that for the convenience and quick shipping.

Anyways, barring any unforeseen issues with the actual device, I'd highly recommend buying direct from the manufacturer. And they're built in Canada!

Wow, cool!

I am very much in the market right now...Reckon I will have to see about picking one up! This week was digital scale week so maybe next paycheck will be chrony week!

And if its actually made and sold by fellow Canucks, fer shure.

You're welcome. Although the actual shipping on mine was only $10.13 :)

If your going to be shooting anything high power Id recommend the master, its the same as the lower end model just comes with a detachable lcd on a 20ft cord. I had the standard and I had to have my crony so far away from my 300wm that I couldnt read the lcd lol. the little extra the master costs is nice.
