Our gang usually heads up to area 4 around Sioux Lookout but we thought we would try a little different hunt this year and headed out to Quebec.
We had a good hunt and a great time in Quebec.
I took a cow Thursday morning and another fella took a small bull Friday morning.Mine was taken at 267yds with a 7mmRemMag,175g Nosler part. semi spitzer, one shot a little high in the shoulder but she didn't go more than 20 feet.
The bull was taken with a 7mm RemMag (not sure what bullet)at about 35-40 yds, one shot and he expired.

The fella on the left took the bull.

Not sure if you HAVE to or not but yes we used an outfitter. We did not have a guide.Quite afew bucks for a non-resident licence aswell, but I'd go back again,at least to the area we hunted and the outfitter we used.
Any locals we encountered were very friendly to say the least and it was a very good experience for me.

Great pics, is it still 4 guys to a tag in PQ?

As far as I know, two people must tag an animal. There were eight guys in our gang so we could have potentially shot 4 animals.Luckily our outfitter was allowed several cow tags.He threw all his clients names in a hat and one of the guys in our gang was lucky enough to draw one.
I personally like the way the hunting regs are in Quebec. Ontario(at least)could learn a thing or two from them.

Great hunt fellas Congats.

I agree about Quebec's moose hunting regs.Ont for one could take pointers from this system.

I see you were brave enough to wear a Stihl hat in Husquvana country.
