I recently bought a 10/22 from AF's b/c of the price and the availability. (BTW, the standard old blue/birch variety ARE hard to find these days.)
I put the internet-order in late one evening, got a call the next morning b/c I had screwed up my PAL # (which is entirely that damn ipad's fault!), got everything sorted, and it was shipped out the very same morning. Got the gun in a reasonable time via Canada Post, and I'm very happy with it.
Sighted it in this last weekend.
You just gotta love shooting those 10/22s with 25 round mags full of Blazers at less than 4 cents per round!
(Just thought I'd switch things up b/c of all the griping we are seeing on these boards lately...just sayin'
