My great uncle is planning on coming over in september. Now I want to take him hunting out with us. Is there any rules about bringing a non-resdent on Canada on a hunt with us? He would like to see me take my first big game animal. He would be just tagging along, seeing the sceneri while dad and me are hunting.

I dont see how talking to hunters on a nature walk is ilegal. He might have a bit of trouble if he wanted to export any of its meat, I think he has to get some sort of permit, cant remember. But call the MNR to be 100% sure. As long as he is just walking, he isnt doing anything ilegal. He can even shoot it if your beside him.

Where is your Great Uncle from? It would be awesome to have him along for your first big game animal. I can't see any problems legal or otherwise... is he fit enough for the mountains... does he know what is involved?
