Great Use of a Deactivation

I recently deactivated a DP 28 rifle for a customer, we worked together in an attempt to find a suitable one with the correct date and hardware. This was a display piece (we assume all deactivations are) and care was taken to preserve the outward appearance of the Rifle. We're posting these images with his consent.

Turned out really nice.

Always loved being able to handle a dewatt in a vehicle, at a show or on a wall for something I could never legally own here.

The history involved is great

Has to be the worst timing and beyond poor to no taste to post advertisement for making money deactivating firearms.

Gives me more than pause and a bad taste in my mouth about where I will spend my money and who I spend it with in the future if there is a future for our hobby.

Talk about undoing good will and benefit of the doubt which I had up to now.

Considering that you can either turn your DP into a dewat or let it pass from 12x licence to 12x licence to rust in a safe until it gets turned into the cops by some dude's kid after he dies or seized after the next round of bans, I'm okay with a deactivation.

Lets face it, prohibs at this point are good for display or boogaloo, and noone is going to dance.

I’d love to have a DP28 :) love the pizza pan mag!
It’s a shame you had to deactivate it:(
You should make semi auto versions of them and sell them to us
I’d totally buy one!
Also you should revisit the semi auto mg42 that you guys did in the past and get them to market
Once we get the big black turd flushed all this gun paranoia should go away
