Hey Guys,

Well I had another great moment with Vortex last week. I went to the range about two weeks ago with my new Keltec RFB and noticed that my new Vortex scope with precision vortex rings was set up too low to properly use the scope. So I fired off a quick e-mail to Vortex asking them if it was possible to exchange the rings for a higher size. Without any questions they simply replied saying send it back to us we will ship you a new higher size. Sure enough they received it on the Wednesday and I received my new rings Monday :). Now I just need to go and mount them on my new RFB and hope they work as great as they look. They have definitely kept me as a customer and I would recommend them to anyone.

same with me. i dropped my screw in optic doubler for my sparc. i messed up the threads so it wouldnt screw into the sparq anymore. i sent them a email and asked if i could get a new one. they said even though the optic doubler wasnt covered by warrenty only the actual sparq, they would be happy to help me. i had a new optic doubler in 3 days time. i didnt even have to mail them the damaged one. im a happy vortex user.

Good choice of rings, one of the best out there and made by a great shop in the US.

Sadly when I got them it appeared that they weren't properly "precision fit" so I sent them back for an exchange. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Either way I bought a Burris PEPR to test it if that will work better.

I was really impressed with my precision rings, but they were definitely too low for my Tavor's cheekweld:

They're much happier on the Tikka:

Just curious but what didn't seem right about them for "precision fit" ?
Quality of the rail they're on will play with alignment if there's any issue there.
In terms on machining accuracy he's running some of the best machines available and I know he's picky about quality.
