Grech Outdoors

Worst warranty experience ever with those folks. Sent in a SW66, gun was gone to have barrel shroud properly timed and secured. Canted shrouds are a thing with them and I ended up with one unfortunately. After 6+ months I get the gun back and 6 rounds later the shroud is back where it was. That is utter incompetence. I could have just twisted the thing myself if I wanted something lazy done that wouldn't actually fix anything.

Are the mossberg warranty services, great people to deal with , great service
 
Bought a 12(3) from landsborough auction and RCMP wanted some work done on it, they sent it to Gretch, he had it for a year but instead of doing what the RCMP requested he deactivated the rifle

I contacted Henry Customer Service today and they confirmed that Grech is moving out east. Response from Henry below.


Yes Grech is still available but they moved. Here is new info:

519 is a south western Ontario area code. Thats weird.

They were (seems still are) the warranty center for Henry. I bought an early Single Shot, they all had recalls on the trigger. Sent it to Grech, had it back in about a month.

I was very hesitant to send it out because of their reputation on CGN, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The CFO inspects all licensed gunsmiths on a regular basis. Check inventory against his gunsmith log etc. Storage, etc.
depending on the issue with the gunsmith I can see asking the CFO to look into it (as an example the gunsmith claiming he didn’t have the rifle but the sender having a CP tracking number indicating it was delivered)
