Hey

Is this stuff any good ? Appears it is cheaper than the Russian stuff that's around. I know its corrosive. How does it do in the CSA VZ 58 ? Should I get a crate or two to put away ? Or am I better off sticking with the more expensive Russian stuff ?

You would be hard pressed to find a difference between most of the surplus ammo available unless you were doing accuracy tests with a scoped bolt gun, That being said Czech is still my favorite because it comes on strippers, followed by Romanian as I think it looks the nicest, Fired lots of Chinese as well without a hiccup, only difference I noticed was the smell of the powder

I found this stuff to be sometimes corrosive. I had half a spam can (back when I still believed when I was told it was non corrosive) that I shot without any rust or issues, but then the last few hundred rounds rusted up pretty quick. It all shot well, never had any issues with its performance.

That being the case, if it's the same price or less than the Russian stuff, I would probably pick it, so that if for some reason I couldn't clean my gun right away or forgot to, I would have an off chance that it's not all 100% corrosive.

Either way though, just pick up whatever is cheaper and blast away.
