Hi guys, looking for a ballpark value on a Remington nylon 66 in a green stock. Condition of it is prob 6/10. From what I’ve read the green stock is the rarest.

Thanks, Jordan.

Wow, that’s interesting! Thanks for your response. It’s not in great shape. I was thinking it would be more like a $150-$200 gun. Is it just because of the stock color or are these sweet little shooters?

I'm gonna' guess, it's because of the stock colour. My somewhat limited experience with shooting one of these, is that it's the antithesis of a "sweet shooter". My buddy had one (bought brand new), half a century ago - and aside from it being the flimsiest, rattly .22 I've ever handled, it suffered a lot of stoppages. We were using CIL ammo back then. He didn't keep it for very long.

I had one and found that you had to play with the magazine guide to make it feed well. Once set-up, it worked well.
