Here’s one I have to take out for some grouse this season. This I’ve shown to Simon at Holts and he informs me it’s an unsigned Greener apprentice gun. It differs from the later martini action trap guns, in that the receiver is purpose made, note the rear ramp of the solid rib where it blends into the receiver. It’s machined that way. They used a beautiful piece of figured walnut for the stock and very fine checkering. The fore end cap is ebony.
