Got this with a bucket-0-guns....has 3 prong firing pin...looks like it was used in many riots, british proof marks, pitted but solid barrel, poor finish,re-made rear stock(not to bad)...action solid.....solid forestock..

CAn I retire or look for a second job???:D

P.S........I think I mites want to sell/trade it:rockOn:

Gonna have to look for ammo before you shoot it, anyway. These took a 12/14-gauge round: a bottlenecked shotgun round.

After that, it got fun: the solid-base round needed a groove for the extra firing-pin prongs to fit into or they wouldn't strike the central primer.

Wish I had got one when they were cheap, but you can't get everything you want.

Interesting piece.

NOT a legal Antique, by the way: much too new.

Some were issued to Egytian Prison Guard, those will sometimes have Arabic numbers on them. Imported into the USA by Sarco and resold in Canada by Martstar. Will sell from $150.00 to $300.00 depending on condition. Manufactured after 1898 and considered a modern firearm legally.

Does it have the old Martini action?

I got a slightly rough looking example a while back for $150 that was chambered and "firing pinned" in regular 12ga. The wood was rather bubba'ed hence the lower price.

Sorry man. I wondered why you sent me the Greener pics. I never saw this post and, lacking adequate instruction, I didn't post them. You just can't get good help these days. :D
I want to have a look at that. I think I might need it. I am looking for a new trap gun.
