Greenhorn In Calgary

Just stumbled across this site in efforts to learn about modern day shooting. I'm 25, Just got my PAL, spent a few years of my youth living in rural Saskatchewan and that's where I got my hunter's ed. Been living in Calgary since 96, and as such have had little opportunity to shoot over the years.

I'm basically here to learn everything I forgot from all those years ago, and then put them to practical use.

As a fellow Calgarian, let me be the first to welcome you. You've probably noticed that our city is reasonably "firearm friendly" and there are quite a few places to shoot. The Shooting Edge is the finest indoor range, and there is plenty crown land within a 1 hour drive for plinking, hunting and hiking if that suits you. As far as forums are considered, this one is the best for Canadian shooters, the information contained here is endless.
