Hello everyone. :wave:
Nice site!

I live near the Lloydminster area, have been a varmint hunter for 30+ years, sustenance hunter for 7.

I am into way too many hobbies, rifles, handguns, archery, corvettes, sportbikes, own a small machine shop, and so on.

Anyway, I was in Lloydminster tonight, visiting a friend of mine that sells rifles on here, but can not find his listings of rifles? Can someone point me in the right direction? I saw his thread on his computer, but am unable to locate it here.

I am sure there are not a pile of guys in Lloydminster that sell rifles for a living.....

What your friend forgot to mention, is that you need to sign up for the "equipment exchange" (e.e.) forum.
The "how tos" are found in the newbie section.
Not hard, just requesting permission to get in, then it takes a bit for them to review your request.

To apply for permission to access the Equuipment Exchange ( EE ), Off Topics ( OT), Youth Wing, or any of the other limited access areas, you will need to apply.
Along the top of the screen is:


User CP Forums Gallery FAQ Members List, etc, etc

click on User CP (stands for Control Panel), then at the bottom of the drop down list is:

Miscellaneous
Event Reminders
Group Memberships
Buddy / Ignore Lists
Attachments


click on Group Memberships, and apply there. I do not have the power to give you access right here.


(I just got two separate PMs asking how to do so, so thats a good indication that the Newbie section needs updating!)


EDIT. It may take a few days for someone to do the approval. Please be patient, keep in mind that the Moderators are all volunteers, so we have a real job that must come first. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

The Saskatchewan Provincial Rifle Association has a 1200yd range near Nokomis. Join the club and shoot measured distances at paper targets. The range has concrete butts and prepared firing points.

Easy- fire everyone, just do the gravy jobs, lower your overhead to nothing, keep all the profit for yourself LOL!

Actually, I mostly do just custom aluminum, fuel tanks, etc lately. Lots of tig welding, nice easy indoor work.

Just FYI, I have a 10' 125 ton break, ram style turret lathe, cnc mill, mig, tig, plasma, pan break and stomp shear.

Most of it I can even run myself!

That's hilarious, truth is we both know it ain't an easy place to get to and no picnic keeping everything maintained, equipped and productive while you do the customer relations dance steps, too.

Does your CNC mill have a tool changer? Have there been good advances in creating G code or are things now all canned cycles?
