I have hunted and been around firearms from a very young age, also was into reloading and just enjoyed the shooting sports as a whole.I have taken a leave of absense from shooting and hunting to raise kids,now that they have grown up I have renewed my intrest in the sport.Just recently I have bought a SS Tika T3 in a .270 WSM .and topped it off with a rapid z-600 Ziess scope.Also bought a Mossberg 17 HMR for plinking.I have been reading some of the comments in the forum and I have been very impressed with the knowlege level of many of you.Looking forward to receiving some advice in the future.
 
Welcome back into community! How do you find the mossberg 17 hmr? I'm strangely drawn to the cartridge but can't really justify it when .22 is cheaper than dirt....
 
So far I really like the 17 HMR,But I have only been out once with it ,so I really can't give a fair judgement about it.What I can say for sure is that if your looking for a good quality firearm, do not buy this one,what i mean by this is that the machining is a little crude.It does shoot ok and it is lite and easy to operate.I have mounted a bipod on it and mounted a 3x9 vortex scope on it.All the components made this little gun look good and I managed to do all this for under $500.00 ,so it has not been a big investment.If your intrested in pics I will try to post them.
 
Sure! Always good to know what people think of different guns and why. Pretty sure everyone enjoys a review and pictures of a new gun (except the anti's)
