Hello all. Found the site through locating a CFSC course in my local area and figured I'd check out the community. I'm just returning to firearms ownership after enjoying target shooting as a youth, then because of nineties policy my family just didn't bother jumping through hoops, and our firearms were mostly given away.
I finally sucked it up and my PAL application is sitting on a desk somewhere in New Brunswick and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my paperwork (and then purchasing some new firearms of course).
I'm going to be headed into the Action Shooting realm, as well as enjoying hunting with my friends, but I have yet to challenge my Restricted PAL, which is completely do-able from what I've heard.
That's about it, just playing a waiting game now, so I have a "valid" reason to sign up to the CSSA and my local Range and promote the shooting sports.
