I'm from Calguns also. We here in the Occupied State of Kalifornia send you greetings. My parents were born and mostly raised in Canada. Their last name was Prentiss from one of the western Provinces. I think it was Drumheller Saskatchewan. I know I probably butchered that, sorry. Well, anyways it's good to see ya'll have a sight.

California's great, but you do have a very 'canadian' style/commy :onCrack: glubberment down there... at least we are still allowed to have .50Barrett's!

And to your fellow 'merican's: Don't let that post Katrina round up #### happen again. Haven't kept up to date on the NRA's success with roasting some asses on that one, but here's to their success!

So I guess the obvious question is, how is it that California seems to be both conservative yet laced with some of the most oppresive lefty gun laws in the country? Not looking to stir the pot, just wondering how the political dynamic works.
 
As a general rule IMHO California is a cesspool filled with mostly stupid liberal democrats that don't even realise that their rights are also being taken from them. But maybe they don't care I dunno. I think also that they are of the opinion that the police will protect them when the bad people attempt to do them harm.

And then as well a lot of our so called senators either have Carry permits or have squads of body guards. SO to them Justice = JUST US.

It's Drumheller, Alberta, and there's still Prentiss folk in Alberta....

wishy washy it seems. On the one hand, he has vetoed anti-gun legislation, on the other hand, he approved AB50, which banned any new .50BMGs
