Thanks for all the warm welcom. I have already taken a lot of great information from this site. I have found my next rifle by roaming this site as well. And I look forward to all the future discusions. And about hunting bear with a .223, personaly I have no problems with doing that. The .223 is pretty much the main stay round in the north. It can be used to hunt anything and everything. The only problem is when there are bad shots using the round. Because when a bad shot is made an animal can just run off injured. But I am in the process of downsizing to .223. I have been a .243 loyalist for years but my skill has exceeded the need for such a large round. It does too much damage. I use 85gr. BTHP and I only do head shots on my game. as it does not waste any meat. I am not a trophy hunter just a sustinence (SP) hunter. I kill for food!

Welcome Sir!
Aside from your knowledge I for one hope you show us some pictures of the wilderness in your area!!

Everything I have heard of sounds very fine and pristene.

I nearly won myself a job up there last year but they did not take me in the end.....

Cheers and good day Sir
