Hi all..
I just wanted to post an intro for myself. I recently (last January) got back into shooting after a long hiatus and am really enjoying it. I took my PAL and RPAL and now am the owner of three handguns and plan on shooting IPSC and IDPA... I recently passed my black badge course here in Winnipeg and am looking forward to competing. I started shooting way back when in highschool and used to hunt quite a bit... Now i am interested in pistol shooting and find that it is alot harder than it looks...
But I have practiced with a Ruger Mark III hunter and a S&W Model 41 and finally got it to the point where i can hit the paper all the time... Now i just have to master the 9mm XD.
My interest in Shooting freaks out all my collegues at the university when ever i mention it but i dont care because i have always been a true gunnut. I just love the engineering about firearms. I have owned shotguns and numerous rifles and was really quite good at shooting ground hogs upto 500 yards in northern ontario when i was doing my BSc at the university of Guelph. Was asked to be on the U of Guelph rifle team when i was there but declined because it took much time from my studies. Now i have more time and money i look forward to getting back into shooting, in particular handguns and IPSC style shooting.
If you have any questions please let me know... and good shooting to all and to all a good night...
PS. My girlfriend wants me to mention that now i am prepared for the zombies. LOL..
