Hi, so I am a college student looking into getting into the gun hobby. I have some experience with guns I was in the reserves for a short while did my BMQ and SQ and part of DP1 army wasnt for me but I liked the guns. I have also used my uncles guns when i was younger.

So I am here to find out more information about what i need to do and how this all works :D

Yes that would be a good start had to find out what it was first :p

I have been wanting to take my firearms safety course for a while now, still need to find out where I will be taking it. Would it be best to get both restricted and non-restricted at the same time? As it will be a while before i can afford to purchase any hand guns being a student. Also I am interested in getting my hunting licence.

So would I best of doing it all at once, restricted + non-restricted and hunting.

I wonder if I know you

as the guys said before, do both if you think youll go into pistols later, it just makes things easier, why go through the hustle twice?

Sounds like i will take restricted right of the bat. Any recommendations for where to take the course? Also what should I expect this to cost(everything to get my pal).

I read the book and challenged the non restricted, kind of thinking I should have done both but there is no way my wife would allow a handgun in the house!! pistola = divorce

is a good course or to challenge. Loction at 401 &400 $40 to challenge and $12 for the proper picture. They are quite anal about the size of the photo

has the videos to watch.. just don't point the gun in an unsafe direction & as soon as you pick up a gun PROVE it safe and you will pass
